So after relocating from Sydney’s beautiful Hawkesbury’s River 20+ years ago to the Gold Coast’s vast & incredible waterways & canals we were faced with challenges with waterfront construction projects.

What we required was a fast all-purpose ‘water ute’ to deliver plant & equipment, building materials & our tradesmen to complete these jobs in the most efficient, cost effective & timely manner without the prohibitive cost of larger industrial barges.

Our solution was a Ute that could drive on water! 

So we found & repurposed a dive boat from Cairns, engaged some of the best boat builders & marine professionals in the world at Boatworks & together with the ‘Can Do Attitude’ of our amazing team of ‘Artists with Clay & Concrete’ at Gold Coast Brick & Block, Aqua Ute was born on the 3rd of May 2025.”
